VBergman
Cafe Manager is designed
to assist in the day-to-day management of Internet cafes or similar businesses, where time
– money calculation is involved.
The program calculates the total charge for time spent and services provided to different
categories of customers. This information is stored into a log file.
Cafe Manager works as a stand-alone application and if
you are not using Shield,
can be run on any PC, even when not connected to the Network at all! All necessary
information is entered by staff members simply by clicking on certain buttons on input
called "PC-panels" i.e. PC1, PC2, PC3,
PC4 etc.
VBergman Cafe Manager supports 3 different categories of
customers and 9 categories for additional services you may provide. The program allows you
to fully modify those services to meet your specific
requirements.
The
program supports two major approaches widely used in Cyber Cafes:
Customer
pays after he/she has finished using the PC
Charge
will be calculated based on time spent by a customer and current rate.
Customer pays
before he/she starts using the PC.
Two
options: If the customer wants to spend an exact amount of money, the program will
calculate time based on your current rates.
If the customer wants to spend a specific amount of time using the PC, the program will
calculate the charge based on your current rates.
You
can select which option the program should use as your default
workflow while, at the same time, you always can switch between the two for specific
PC-panels.
It
is possible to print out a receipt for the customer. Receipt
contains information about price for the time spent
, price for additional services and total. All
settings necessarily for receipt print out are
configurable.
One of the strongest elements of VBergman Cafe Manager is
that it can be used together with its remote security agent - Shield.
This allows you, with one mouse-click, to take full control over a remote PC, thereby
eliminating all unauthorized and unexpected use of the PC.
Before you take advantage of this
feature you have to install Shield on PCs where you intend
to use it in a Local Area Network (LAN).
Shield is
available together with VBergman Café Manager for no
extra charge.
